He's never going to make it.

I know that I should be more supportive and offer my husband the vote of confidence, but that would do him no favours. He will only ever complete something this ridiculously challenging, if I have said he won't! So I am going to keep track of his...training...diet...and fund raising, using this helpful blog, and a few other sources, so keep following the updates and show your support.

He is aiming to lose a few stone, get fit again (after a few great Christmas') and raise money for charities supporting local children.

The main focus is the local rugby club. Funds raised will be pumped in to support the club and expand the opportunities that are available for local children, who want to learn how to be part of a team, keep fit and healthy, occupy their minds and develop their focus and drive.

Come and watch the journey...It may not be spectacular...but it promises to be hilarious.
